Byron Ahn (Ph.D., UCLA, 2015) began his role as an Assistant Professor of Linguistics in the Fall of 2016. He studies structural aspects of language in both syntax (phrasal/sentential structure) and prosody (rhythmic/melodic structure), as well as how the two interact.
