Yağmur Sağ-Parvardeh (Ph.D., Rutgers University, 2019) is a Lecturer in the Council of the Humanities and the Program in Linguistics. Her research focuses on formal semantics and the syntax-semantics interface, with a current focus on a cross-linguistic comparison between Turkish and English. Yağmur has investigated the semantics of bare nouns in languages with and without articles, kind reference, and counting. She has also conducted fieldwork-based research on Persian and Western Armenian. Before joining the Program in Linguistics at Princeton, she taught at Rutgers University and Queens College, CUNY.
