Linguistics certificate alumnus and former president of the Princeton University American Sign Language Club Colin Lualdi ’17 was honored alongside his teammates Evan Corden ’16 and Jack Hudson ’16 at the annual Celebrate Princeton Invention reception. The team’s innovation, SignSchool, an online learning platform for American Sign Language was recognized with the inaugural Tiger Entrepreneur Award. The event was held on November 9 and attended by faculty, staff and student researchers together with members of the entrepreneurial community.
The event was hosted by the Office of the Dean for Research with leadership from Associate Dean for Research Karla Ewalt along with John Ritter, director of the Office of Technology Licensing, which helps connect industry investors and entrepreneurs with technologies invented at Princeton, and Coleen Burrus, director of Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations, which builds collaborations with companies and foundations to support programs and research across all academic areas.
